           Why do some children take more time to speak than other children ? Have you ever wondered about this ? Yes it is! When a child is born, he/she is exposed to an environment and they first learn how to communicate by hearing. They hear conversations between adults and try to make sounds like them.                 During first few years in a child's life, it is very important to give proper care where the caretaker should talk to the child more and try to engage in his activities. You should read simple stories which help them to improve their vocabulary. Caretaker should always use words that are easier for the child to understand. If the child is playing or doing other activities then explain to them what they are doing. Verbally explaining their actions will help them to get a better idea about what they are doing. These are only some of the techniques that can help your child to improve communication. More social opportunities are very important during first few years of the child's development.
